In the 1950s, Shantilal Chatrabhuj Sagar embarked on a daring journey across the Arabian Sea, reaching the Arabian Peninsula. In the captured moment from this era, Mr. Shantilal is seen graciously receiving a Thawb, a traditional garment, as a thoughtful gift from the royal family of Saudi Arabia during his visit.
In 1969, he made a bold choice to settle in the UAE, a nation yet to be formed when he arrived from Bahrain, pioneering the beginning of a golden legacy. Shantilal Jewellers was established in November 1969 in Dubai, even before the formation of the United Arab Emirates. Today, we are one of the oldest jewellery companies in Dubai.
Over the past 55 years, we have grown from a small retail store to one of the largest manufacturers and wholesalers of gold and diamond jewellery in Dubai. Our manufacturing facility employs more than 100 skilled craftsmen. We export to Europe, ASEAN countries, the Middle East, and GCC countries.
